All pubs serve food up to approximately 9.30pm, then you can enjoy the music until closing time.

The Cliffs & The Islands

Cliffs of Moher

The most dramatic cliffs in Europe standing 250 metres above sea level and 8kms long. Home to a myriad of wildlife and many different species of birds.  There is a cliff side walk down to hags head.  The Cliffs of Moher boast one of the most amazing views in Ireland. On a clear day, the Aran Islands are visible in Galway Bay as well as the valleys and hills of Connemara.

The islands of Inishmore, Inishmaan and Inisheer make up the Aran Islands, and their rugged, natural beauty, thatched roof cottages dotting the islands, provide a splendid example of Celtic and early Christian heritage and gives one the impression that they have just travelled back in time. There are passage ferries running from Doolin pier to the islands each day.

The Burren

The Burren region is an excellent location for walking and cycling, It is a unique area of 270sq kilometres of limestone pavement and green valleys.  It is rich in flora and fauna, geology, archaeology,  ancient settlements & ecclesiastical sites. Mediterranean, Alpine and Arctic flowers and plants grow side by side. Take a walk on the beach, across the moonscape-like rocks, see wild flowers, touch megalithic tombs.
